In the reinforcing bar binding machine, a wire drum in which a steel wire for binding steel bars is wound is rotatably accommodated in a housing chamber of a main body of the binding machine, and the leading end of the steel wire is pulled out from the steel wire cylinder and is wound around the steel bar, and is wound around the steel bar. After twisting it, the steel bars are bundled.
In such a reinforcing bar binding machine, the wire drum is disposed between a side wall disposed inside the binding machine main body of the storage chamber and a side wall disposed outside, and a center hole is provided in a portion of the wire cylinder that is a center of rotation. The winding end of the wire is inserted into the central portion of the center hole to prevent the wire from being detached from the wire barrel. Therefore, the rotating shaft cannot be passed through the center hole.
Then, on one side of the wire cylinder, a circular recess is formed around the center hole, and a disk-shaped projecting cylinder guide provided on the side wall of the strapping machine body is fitted and rotatably supported in the recess. . Further, on the other side of the wire cylinder, on the open end side of the center hole, the cylinder support member is fitted and rotatably supported from the other side wall. Thus, the cylinder guide and the cylinder support are supported by the wire cylinder. The cylinder support is provided at an end of the support arm that is supported by the side wall of the storage chamber so as to be close to the ground axis, and the support arm is operated to press the cylinder support from the opening formed in the side wall into the inside of the storage chamber. This is thus shallowly fitted into the central bore of the wire drum.
However, the cartridge stopper is provided on the side wall together with the cartridge support. The cartridge stopper is engaged with the cartridge support fitted to the center hole so that the cartridge support cannot be moved out. Thus, since the cartridge support member is provided on the rotating support arm, the rattling occurs after assembly. In addition, the cartridge stop is only engaged so that the cartridge support cannot be pulled out. Therefore, the rotation of the wire drum may be unstable due to the shaking of the drum support.
